Elizabeth Rakela

Elizabeth Bell Rakela has been a New Jersey resident for over 35 years and has over 20 years of real estate experience in Hudson County, NJ. She has received the NJAR Circle of Excellence Sales Award every year consecutively from 2006-2023, the NJAR Distinguished Sales Club Award, and the Five Star Real Estate Professional Award. Elizabeth represents both buyers and sellers and specializes in new construction, first time buyers, historic home restorations, and luxury properties. In addition to renovating several properties, she has also completed courses in home inspection. Elizabeth has a knack for home staging and beautifying any interior space. Her clients describe her as hardworking, honest, caring and tenacious. Elizabeth resides in Hudson County with her family and is very involved in the community and local schools. Elizabeth graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in International Relations and a minor in French.

Amber Nugent

Amber graduated from Arizona State with a BS in Communications and a minor in Business. She started her career in the luxury retail sector as an Assistant Buyer with Gucci. After many years running a buying team at Christian Dior, she transitioned into Human Resources at Saint Laurent. Throughout her 15 years in designer retail, she has gained a great attention to detail as well as a thorough understanding of quality craftsmanship. Her passion for all things design has lead her to interior design coursework with Parsons as well as design and staging opportunities. Although an Iowa girl at heart, Amber is a proud Hoboken mom and resident since 2001. She fondly jokes that she and the Mayor know everyone. In her free time, you can find Amber at the Jersey shore or skiing in Vermont. Her goal is to provide the team and each of our clients with an exceptional level of luxury service. She has received the NJAR Circle of Excellence Sales Award for 2022-23.

Nicole Morris

Born and raised in New Jersey, Nicole has been a resident for over 20 years. She earned a Division 1 scholarship to play basketball at The College of the Holy Cross and graduated with a double Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Psychology. Upon graduating she spent four years at a financial software firm on a client support team. Throughout her career Nicole has offered her expertise and guidance to ensure a positive client experience. With a dual focus on residential transactions and real estate investing, outstanding client care is something she prioritizes and is always at the forefront of her business model. As a real estate investor herself, Nicole has a special passion for helping others find their path to financial success through real estate. When Nicole is not in the office, she loves visiting the local Hoboken coffee shops or spending time at the Jersey Shore with her twin sister, Lindsey, visiting family.

Kate DeCock

When Kate and her husband moved to Hoboken in 2007, they expected the move to be a short term layover before a permanent move to the suburbs. Yet with each passing year, their roots grew deeper and deeper and they found they couldn’t leave this unique, vibrant community. In 2010, Elizabeth Rakela helped Kate and her family find their Hoboken home and Kate is thrilled to be a part of the team that does the same for others in this town she loves so much. A graduate from Cornell University with a B.S. in Economics, Kate spent 14 years with Accenture Consulting where she worked as a Consultant for 10 years before moving into an Operations Role with the North American Sales Organization. Kate teaches at Powerflow Yoga (if you’re looking for some zen!), and serves as an Executive Board member of the Hoboken Public Education Foundation. Kate is excited to bring her Operations experience to the Elizabeth Rakela Team and help others find their forever home, just as Elizabeth did for her and her family.

Kirk Anthony Salango

Kirk graduated from Holy Cross Davao College in the Philippines with a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He started his career in the culinary arts as a hot and cold kitchen cook. However, as time passed, he found himself drawn to new challenges and opportunities, leading him to transition into the corporate world. In this new chapter, he applied the discipline, teamwork, and creativity he developed as a chef to thrive in a completely different professional landscape. He sought new challenges and transitioned into the corporate world, starting as a customer service representative with AT&T. His strong communication skills and work ethic quickly propelled him forward, and he later became a Trainer, guiding others in their professional development. After working in a telco company, Kirk offered his expertise and became an executive assistant at a startup mortgage company in Minnesota. Now working with the Rakela Team as an admin assistant, his commitment to excellence and integrity sets him apart as someone you can always count on.
