ASK ELIZABETH

ASK ELIZABETH: LOCAL MARKET UPDATE

LOCAL MARKET LANDSCAPE

Locally in Hudson County, new buyer activity has been strong to start the new year. Inventory levels in Hoboken are lower than they were one year ago, particularly for single and multi-family homes. However, inventory is expected to rise as we approach the spring market. In Jersey City neighborhoods, inventory levels have increased compared to last year, providing buyers with more opportunities. Overall, the Hudson County market remains tight – especially in Hoboken – with absorption rates indicating a strong seller’s market. Click here for a detailed view of the most recent market neighborhood snapshot.

Rental Market

The rental market has softened in 2025, with properties staying on the market longer and prices adjusting downward. Our team currently has multiple rental listings available at 1024 Clinton Street and 204 Grand Street in Hoboken. Reach out to Elizabeth for more details and click here to view listings.
